First, as a never-will-carry-a-gun-but-love-my-country American, I want to send a shout out to all who have ever given of themselves to protect, improve, love our country. It’s a marvelous country, the United States of America. Even as we collectively slog through major inabilities to simply hear our fellow citizens, let alone come to consensus, we walk on a beautiful, free land, and that is a tremendous blessing. Please accept my humble gratitude, U.S. service women and men of all wars. You are loved and appreciated.
As to my music, it’s been an intense time. The band was in the studio (Terrarium – love) a couple weeks ago, and some seriously fabulous recording was done. Truly. Now the mixing phase is done. And it’s sounding GREAT! It’s a tremendous undertaking – studio time is like getting all involved and heady with some crazy-wonderful person and then breaking up with them. You know, moving out with all your stuff (in this case, instruments). My emotions are all over the place about it – feeling so great about the work the band did, feeling so vulnerable and fragile about my own thing, feeling…
So now I’m about to embark on the mastering thing, then the duplication thing, then the new record will be available for consumption! Exciting. And terrifying. But check it out: there are a couple new videos on the MEDIA page for you to view. Let me know what you think! Thank you.
